Terms & Conditions:
|
- No boat licence required, but the hirer must be over 21 years of age and have and have a current
Australian drivers licence.
- Passenger numbers must not exceed the number of surveyed berths.
- Houseboat is not permitted to travel after sunset or before sunrise.
- The hirer will obey all instructions and navigation rules as outlined in the briefing given prior to hiring
- No pets or firearms are permitted on the houseboat in accordance with government regulations.
- A booking bond of $200.00 is required to secure your booking and must be paid within 7 days of
reservation. Bookings will be confirmed by way of return mail receipt.
- A hire bond of $500.00 is required prior to boarding vessel. Upon return of vessel it will be
inspected, fuel cost, environment and any additional requested supplies will be deducted from your deposit
in addition to any damage or extra cleaning of the vessel or equipment. Balance of deposit will be refunded within 5 working days.
- Fuel cost $35.00 per hour, Houseboat use only. Tender boat fuel is charged at current per litre price.
- Environmental levy of $5.00 per person per night.
- Prior to departure a comprehensive briefing will be given to the hirer by a qualified coxswain on
the operation,navigation and safety aspects of the vessel and tender.
- The houseboat and tender will be returned in a clean and tidy state or an additional fee of $100.00 per hr. will be incurred.
- If the hirer is found to be acting in a manner which may cause damage to the the houseboat, other vessels/people
or acting contrary to hire agreement, hirer and passengers can be evicted from the houseboat with no refund of hire fee.
- If a call out is due to the hirers negligence a call out fee will be applicable.
- A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be deducted from booking bond if prior to 60 days from hire
date. Full refund will depend upon rehiring of vessel for same reserved dates.
- Safety equipment has been provided for emergency use only inappropriate use will incur an additional fee.
- Should a mechanical breakdown or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects the houseboat hire occur, all
monies will be refunded. The hirer will have no claim against management, prior during and subsequent to the term of the hire.
- All hire charges are to be paid in full prior to departure, cash & all major cards accepted. Personal & bank
cheques also if submitted 14 days prior to departure. All other charges including fuel, tackle hire, service runs &
provisions must be paid in full at hire end.
- Before departure the hirer must acknowledge having read understood & accepted the terms and conditions of the hire
agreement on the hirer & on behalf of all other occupants of the houseboat during the term of hire.
- Hire times are from 11am. till 11am. The hirer must arrive at 10am. on the day of departure for 1hr. briefing.
